About Kouvr & The Showdown Series
We produce fast-paced, unscripted entertainment, real-life challenges, and outdoor competition shows for modern Gen Z audiences. Our flagship production, The Showdown Series , is a year-long public tournament where teams compete across high-stakes challenge episodes to score points for a $10,000 grand prize pool.
We are looking for an energetic, highly organized, and creative Content Producer who can take a challenge concept from a napkin sketch to a fully executed, high-octane production day.
Key Job Scope & Responsibilities
1. Pre-Production & Creative Development
Challenge & Episode Ideation: Brainstorm creative game mechanics, forfeits, bingo board structures, and wildcard rules that drive maximum viewer engagement and creator chemistry.
SME & Venue Partnerships: Pitch, negotiate, and coordinate with external partners, local brands, and venues for location permits and episode sponsorships.
Call Sheets & Logistics: Draft detailed shot lists, production schedules, safety protocols, contestant briefing sheets, and talent call sheets for shoot days.
2. Field Production & On-Set Directing
Showrunner Duties: Direct multi-cam production teams, camera operators, sound techs, and talent on location during fast-moving outdoor shoots.
Real-Time Gameplay Management: Monitor rules, scoreboards, timing, and point tracking in real time to ensure fair competition and seamless narrative flow.
Talent Direction & Energy: Guide hosts and creator contestants to maintain high energy, drive key narrative hooks, and capture reaction shots and banter.

3. Post-Production Supervision & Management
Edit Directing: Collaborate directly with the Video Editor to structure episode story arcs, pacing, lower-third graphics (Bingo boards, standings), and sound design.
Asset Management: Oversee raw media offloading, multi-cam syncs, audio levelling, thumbnail asset selection, and final QC checks before release.
Content Strategy: Plan cutdown clips and hooks for short-form marketing across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
Requirements & Qualifications
Proven Experience: 2+ years producing field-based video content, unscripted TV/digital shows, street interviews, or YouTube challenge series
Local SG Network: Strong contacts with local venues, SMEs, permits, and Singapore talent/influencers is a major advantage.
Logistical Master: Exceptional project management skills—able to coordinate camera crews, venue staff, talent, and live game mechanics under tight deadlines.
Unscripted Instincts: Quick thinking on set to handle unexpected disruptions, weather changes, or spontaneous comedic moments without derailing the shoot.
Platform Native: Deep understanding of YouTube retention curves, TikTok trends, and Gen Z entertainment preferences.
