Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW)

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced and EMA-certified Licensed Electrical Worker(LEW Grade 7 or 8) to join our growing operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, compliance, and maximum uptime of M&E systems across our client sites. Both permanent candidates and freelance LEWs are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

. Perform monthly inspections on electrical tools and equipment to ensure they are safe for use.

. Approve and update single-line diagrams to meet site requirements, and complete the Certificate of Fitness turn-on form.

. Prepare tenders and quotations for maintenance and project-related work.

. Engage in project planning, material requisition, cost management, project oversight, and documentation.

. Plan, prepare, and oversee both preventive and corrective maintenance for M&E equipment.

. Supervise and manage vendors, contractors, and in-house technicians monitor work progress and coordinate with client representatives on technical issues.

. Lead a team of supervisors and technicians to ensure maximum uptime of M&E systems and associated equipment.

. Ensure all tasks are performed safely and in strict adherence to established safety procedures and regulatory requirements.

. Handle ad-hoc duties and any other assigned responsibilities as required.

Requirements

. EMA-certified Licensed Electrical Worker - Grade 7 or Grade 8.

. Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.

. 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience conducting electrical installation checks to ensure compliance with the Code of Practice and Singapore Standards (SS) in a LEW capacity.

. Proven ability to lead and coordinate teams including supervisors, technicians, and third-party contractors.

. Strong communication skills for liaising with client representatives and managing technical issues on-site.

. Meticulous, safety-focused, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

. Immediate availability is an advantage.
