Compliance Officer | Hazardous Waste Management

- Working Hours : Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm, Sat 8am - 12pm
- Monthly Salary : Base up to $5000 + Variable Bonus (VB)
- Employment Type : Full time, Permanent Contract

ResponsibilityConduct regular inspections of waste management facilities, equipment, and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
Develop and implement waste management plans, policies, and procedures to minimize waste and promote recycling.
Review and analyze waste data to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
Coordinate with internal teams (sales, operations, and lab) to ensure compliance with NEA requirements and train staff on proper waste handling.
Maintain records of waste management activities, including permits, inspections, and reports, and liaise with regulatory agencies.
Participate in environmental audits, implement corrective actions, and stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices.
Requirement
- Minimum Diploma in in environmental science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Compliance Officer or Compliance Manager
- Attended updated safety and environment courses
- Strong knowledge in legal requirements and controls
- Candidate who can start immediately or within short notice will be preferred
