Position Summary
As a Regional Marketing Manager for Home Appliances, you will support regional marketing and strategic business initiatives across Southeast Asia & Oceania (SEAO), working closely with HQ, RHQ, and subsidiary teams to drive marketing priorities and business objectives.
You will leverage consumer and business insights to support product launches, drive brand guideline compliance, and lead strategic and new business projects across the region. The role will also involve developing partnerships, improving business processes, and identifying opportunities to leverage AI to enhance operational efficiency.
Working across regional and local teams, you will bring together stakeholders and resources to drive project execution, share best practices, and support consistent marketing and business practices across SEAO.
Role and Responsibilities
Consumer Insights & Marketing
- Leverage data and analytical thinking to identify relevant consumer insights and translate them into compelling product USPs, particularly for new product launches.
- Drive alignment across HQ, RHQ, and subsidiary Marketing and Product Management teams towards regional marketing priorities, strategies, and KPIs.
- Drive Brand Guide compliance through regular engagement and alignment with relevant marketing and PM teams across the region.
Strategic & New Business Projects
- Lead strategic marketing projects by bringing together HQ, RHQ, subsidiary, and cross-functional resources to achieve project objectives.
- Lead new business and strategic initiatives as required, including the development and implementation of region-wide business processes and programs.
- Coordinate stakeholders and drive execution across projects, ensuring alignment, follow-through, and delivery of agreed objectives.
Partnership & Stakeholder Management
- Support the identification, appointment, and management of external partners to support regional strategic projects.
- Coordinate with field sales, specialist business development, government relations, Marketing, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure aligned execution.
- Build effective relationships across different levels of the organization and work collaboratively to influence business outcomes.
Business Operations & Best Practice
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes and operational efficiency, applying a structured approach to problem-solving and execution.
- Explore and leverage AI tools and applications to improve business processes and productivity.
- Prepare relevant and effective reports and presentations for regional management, subsidiary management, and working teams, adapting communication to different audiences.
- Identify and synthesise best practices and key business drivers across markets, and support their adoption by subsidiaries.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in the Home Appliances industry, ideally with exposure across the Southeast Asia & Oceania region.
- Experience in PMO, project management, or a strong project management-oriented role, with the ability to structure and drive multiple initiatives.
- Strong analytical and structured thinking skills, with the ability to translate insights into practical actions and business outcomes.
- Disciplined and results-oriented, with strong follow-through and attention to execution.
- Proactive and adaptable, with a can-do attitude and ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively upwards, across teams, and with local stakeholders.
- Comfortable working across Marketing, Product Management, Sales, Business Development, and other cross-functional teams.
- Strong ability to adapt across marketing, strategic projects, and business process initiatives, particularly during the initial period of the role.
- Demonstrated motivation for career growth and development.
