Drafter (Interior Fit-Out)
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed shop drawings and fabrication drawings for interior fit-out projects.
- Produce accurate plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings with precise dimensions.
- Coordinate drawings with the Sales and Production teams to ensure design and technical requirements are met.
- Specify materials, finishes, hardware, and construction details in all drawings.
- Ensure drawings are suitable for factory fabrication and on-site installation.
- Revise and update drawings based on project requirements and site conditions.
- Assist with site measurements and verify dimensions when required.
- Maintain drawing accuracy and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in Interior Design, Architecture, Drafting, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in interior fit-out, carpentry, or construction drafting.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other relevant CAD/drafting software.
- Able to interpret architectural and construction drawings accurately.
- Familiar with site measurements, joinery detailing, and fabrication processes.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet project deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills with internal teams and contractors.
- Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
