POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a Sales Executive in our catering team, you will play a vital role in driving our growth and ensuring exceptional customer experiences. You'll be responsible for managing client inquiries, preparing customized catering proposals, and coordinating with our culinary and event teams to deliver seamless service.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client Management
Attending incoming enquiries via phone, email, messages or any online 3rd party platform. Please take down clear client requirements
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, offering personalized attention and ensuring a seamless experience.
Monitor and manage client accounts to ensure repeat business and encourage referrals.
Proactively address client needs and concerns, striving for continuous satisfaction.
Engage in thorough conversations with clients to understand their catering needs, preferences, and expectations.
Offer customized catering menus and solutions tailored to individual client requirements.
Provide expert guidance and recommendations to clients regarding menu selection and event planning.
Introduce new offerings that align with client needs and enhance their overall experience.
Identify opportunities for upselling additional catering products or services to existing clients.
Present innovative ideas and options to enhance the value of our catering offerings.
Work closely with clients to provide customized catering solutions, ensuring their expectations are met
Promptly and professionally address any issues or concerns raised by clients, collaborating with internal teams for effective resolution.
Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients through regular and meaningful communication.
Proactively engage with clients to understand evolving needs and preferences.
Conduct follow-up communication with clients to gather feedback on the catering services provided. Address any post-event concerns or additional requirements.
Utilize feedback to make continuous improvements, enhance client satisfaction, and refine catering services.
Conduct regular quality assessments to maintain and improve service excellence.
Menu Planning, Budget Management and Quotation Preparation:
Demonstrate a deep understanding of client requirements and qualify leads before providing quotations/rates
Prepare detailed and accurate quotations/ menus based on client requirements. Ensure that quotations are clear, transparent, and aligned with pricing strategies.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of diverse cuisines, cooking techniques, and flavours that cater to different preferences, dietary needs, and event themes.
Negotiate pricing with clients when necessary, balancing competitive rates with the company's financial goals.
Serve as the main point of contact for clients during the order processing phase.
Maintain accurate and organized records of all orders, quotations, and client communications.
Ensure that all documentation complies with internal procedures and legal requirements.
Order Processing, Event Planning & Execution:
Receive and review client orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Liaise with internal teams, including culinary and logistics, to coordinate the execution of catering orders.
Coordinate logistics for catering events, including staffing, equipment, and transportation from initial planning to on-site execution.
Collaborate with the operation/ kitchen/ purchasing to align client deliverables and expectations
Address any issues or challenges that arise during the event planning and execution stages.
Ensure the timely and efficient execution of catering services on the day of the event
Work closely with operational teams to ensure seamless and successful event delivery.
Lead and manage catering staff, providing training and guidance as needed.
Foster a positive and collaborative environment on-site
Coordination with Other Departments:
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and initiatives. Contribute ideas to shape marketing strategies and increase the visibility of catering services.
Work closely with culinary, operations, and sales teams to ensure effective cross-departmental collaboration.
Communicate event details and client expectations to relevant teams for seamless execution.
Work collaboratively with internal catering teams to address challenges, ensuring a seamless client experience from planning to execution.
Uphold high-quality standards in food presentation, service delivery, and overall customer experience.
Requirements:
Minimum Diploma
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate effectively and work well within a team
