Optometrist

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive routine eye examinations.
• Assess patients' visual alertness, field of vision, and hand-eye coordination.
• Diagnose eye conditions, including myopia and color vision deficiencies.
• Prescribe corrective lenses and appropriate medications.
• Keep precise medical records for all patients.
• Educate patients on effective eye care practices and promote overall eye health.
• Identify and evaluate eye defects and diseases, including those related to systemic conditions.
• Document all diagnoses, treatment plans, and prescriptions accurately.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Optometry.
• Registration with the Optometry and Optician Board (OOB) in Singapore.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant experience in optometry or a related field is preferred.
