Assistant Finance Manager (Contract)

Job Summary:

Industry: Tertiary education
Employment type: 1-year contract
Working hours: Monday-Thursday, 8.30 am to 6 pm; Friday 8.30 am to 5.30 pm

Job Responsibilities:

Assist in routine financial operations, including reporting, budgeting, and forecasting tasks
Support ad-hoc financial requests and data preparation for strategic decision-making
Approve FastPay collections link submission for students' activities and provide support.
Preparation for withholding tax submission
Preparation Risk Control Matrix
Contribute to streamlining existing workflows and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
Review of journals submission and budget transfers.
Review of WBS creations and submission

Job Requirements:

Possess a recognized degree in Accountancy with a minimum of 3 to 5 years working experience.
Good knowledge of SAP financial systems (S4 HANA) and analytical tools (eg. Power BI) would be an advantage.
Possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and strong interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
High level of independence as well as the maturity and ability to work with staff at all levels.
