General Insurance Support / Licensed GI Support Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain internal claims guides, FAQs and process notes for general insurance matters, including group and individual hospitalization plans.

• Handle and follow up on insurance claims, especially for French-speaking clients, to ensure clear communication and smooth claim processing.

• Track policy renewals, renewal timelines and outstanding information to ensure policies are renewed on time.

• Liaise with insurers to request quotations, compare policy options and support internal recommendation summaries for clients.

• Support the development of group insurance policy opportunities, including gathering client requirements, coordinating quotations and assisting with policy placement follow-up.

• Maintain accurate records of policies, claims, quotations, renewal status and insurer communications for internal reference.

• Support licensed insurance agents or management with administrative coordination, client servicing and documentation as needed.

Remuneration: Fixed salary + variable commission / bonus. Candidates with an active General Insurance agent registration or relevant licensing may be considered for additional sales-related bonus opportunities.

Requirements

• Open to Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents only.

• Conversational French language ability is required to support French-speaking clients and claims enquiries effectively.

• Background or experience in general insurance, insurance administration, claims handling, client servicing or a related field.

• Completion of General Insurance papers (BCP, PGI & CGI) is preferred.

• Candidates with relevant General Insurance papers, licensing or agent registration eligibility may be considered as a live General Insurance agent, allowing them to support GI sales activities.

• Understanding of general insurance products such as personal insurance, commercial insurance, group hospitalization, group personal accident, corporate travel or other group policy arrangements will be an advantage.

• Prior experience in customer service, client communication or claims follow-up is preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to maintain clear policy, claims and quotation records.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
