Campus Ministry Staff Worker

The Campus Staff Worker works primarily in campuses with the Indonesian-speaking Christian Fellowships and its students as an educator of Scripture and Theology, a strategist for campus engagement, and an empathetic coach and counsellor. He/She is also an effective ambassador who can connect with students, volunteers, alumni, and partners to carry out the work of the ministry while representing the vision and ethos of FES.
The Campus Staff Worker performs the core function of FES, that is to minister to the campus and its students through regular and direct contact and relationship with them. The Campus Staff Worker is in the best position to understand the current trends and needs of the campus and its students and who can then be an effective voice for them in the larger context of church and society.
As an educator, he/she cultivates a biblical, theological, and missional mindset in students, as well as designing learning experiences based on different learner profiles.
As a strategist, he/she equips students to plan, implement, and evaluate relevant activities to safeguard and promote the interest of the Christian Fellowship and its members on campus.
As a coach, he/she encourages the personal growth of students by equipping them to integrate faith with life by cultivating healthy spiritual habits and practices and to provide active listening and counselling for students where necessary.
As an ambassador, he/she participates in initiatives to establish working relationships with relevant stakeholders to cultivate strong relationships through fostering solidarity in the wider affiliated network of FES in Singapore.
