Technical Support Engineer - Automation Systems

Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical contact for customers following project deployment.
- Triage customer enquiries and troubleshoot hardware or software issues remotely and onsite.
- Coordinate field engineers for troubleshooting, commissioning and preventive maintenance.
- Collect logs, photographs and technical evidence before escalating complex issues.
- Manage support tickets, priorities and follow-up actions through timely closure.
- Prepare incident reports, maintenance reports, technical updates and meeting records.
- Prepare service and spare-parts quotations with sales, procurement and operations teams.
- Identify recurring issues and work with engineering teams on reliability improvements and project handovers.
Requirements
- Required: Diploma or higher qualification in an engineering discipline.
- Required: At least two years of experience in technical support, after-sales service, field service or industrial automation.
- Required: Strong troubleshooting, customer-management and organisational skills, with willingness to travel to customer sites.
- Preferred: Knowledge of mobile robotics, PLCs, networking, Windows or Linux systems, and electrical or mechanical troubleshooting.
