SEA Design Lead

About the Role

Accenture Song's Southeast Asia Design & Digital Products practice operates at the intersection of business strategy, customer experience, service design, and digital product innovation. As an Associate Director, Service & Experience Design, you will lead complex transformation programs and shape experience-led growth for clients across Southeast Asia.

This role combines regional client leadership, designexcellence, business development, and people leadership. You will overseemultidisciplinary teams across multiple markets, partner with senior clientexecutives, drive design-led transformation initiatives, and help growAccenture Song's design practice throughout Southeast Asia.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee large-scale service design, customerexperience, and digital transformation programs across Southeast Asia, ensuringmeasurable business, customer, and operational outcomes.

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders,including C-suite and business leaders, helping shape strategic roadmaps,transformation agendas, and experience-led growth opportunities.

• Lead multidisciplinary teams comprising service designers,experience designers, researchers, strategists, product specialists, andtechnologists across multiple countries and delivery locations.

• Drive the end-to-end design process across discovery,strategy, service design, experience design, prototyping, and implementationwhile ensuring consistency and quality across engagements.

• Develop and grow senior client relationships acrosspriority accounts, identifying opportunities to expand existing engagements andestablish new opportunities for Accenture Song.

• Lead opportunity qualification, solutioning, proposaldevelopment, client presentations, and competitive pursuits, supportingregional business growth targets.

• Establish design governance, quality standards, deliveryframeworks, and ways of working that enable scale across Southeast Asiamarkets.

• Influence executive decision-making through compellingstorytelling, business cases, customer insights, and strategic recommendations.

• Sponsor and mentor design talent across the region throughcoaching, career development, succession planning, recruitment, andcapability-building initiatives.

• Foster a culture of innovation by championing AI-enabled design practices, emerging methodologies, and new ways of delivering value to clients.

• Represent Accenture Song in industry forums, client events, thought leadership initiatives, and marketplace activities across Southeast Asia.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Service Design, Product Design, Business, Innovation, or a related discipline.

• Extensive experience leading service design, customerexperience, digital product, innovation, or transformation programmes withinconsulting, agency, or enterprise environments.

• Demonstrated experience leading regional or multi-marketengagements across Southeast Asia or other international markets.

• Strong executive presence with proven ability to influencesenior business leaders and drive strategic decision-making.

• Track record of managing large cross-functional teamsacross design, business, and technology disciplines.

• Experience developing business cases, shapingopportunities, supporting sales pursuits, and contributing to revenue growth.

• Deep expertise in human-centred design, service design,customer experience transformation, and digital product delivery.

• Strong facilitation, workshop leadership, storytelling,and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working across public sector, financial services, telecommunications, healthcare, consumer goods, travel, retail, or technology sectors.

• Experience building and scaling regional design teams and practices.

• Strong understanding of operating model transformation, organizational design, and experience-led business transformation.

• Experience managing distributed teams across multipleSoutheast Asian markets.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted research, design,prototyping, and experience innovation tools.

• Contributions to industry thought leadership, conferencespeaking engagements, publications, or design communities.
