WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As part of the team, you will gain exposure to various aspects of public relations, communications, media relations, and campaign management. Your responsibilities may include:
Media Relations & Copywriting
- Assist Team Leads and assigned teams with the day-to-day servicing and management of client accounts and media relations activities.
- Draft and distribute media-related materials, including press releases, media advisories, media invitations, pitch letters, feature articles, and other communications materials, progressively.
- Assist with pitching campaigns, interviews, and features to editors and journalists, as well as conducting media follow-ups.
- Assist in building, updating, and maintaining journalist contacts and media databases.
- Conduct daily media monitoring on clients, competitors, and industry news, and assist with the preparation of monitoring and reporting materials.
Project Management & Campaign Support
- Support servicing teams in planning and executing marketing and communications campaigns.
- Assist with the coordination of partner agencies, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare and assist with WIP agendas, contact reports, debrief reports, and other project-related materials.
- Conduct research on relevant subject matter, key topics, policies, trends, and stakeholders to support campaign development.
- Brainstorm and contribute ideas for campaign narratives, messaging, concepts, structures, and tactics with brand and servicing teams.
Client Servicing & Event Management
- Support Team Leads during client presentations, campaign proposals, and client updates.
- Assist with the planning and execution of press events, launches, conferences, and other communications or marketing events.
- Attend media events to assist with media registration, media management, and on-ground event coordination.
- Capture event photos, live updates, and social media content where required.
Business Development
- Conduct research and contribute ideas for prospective client proposals and new business pitches.
- Participate in brainstorming and ideation for campaign proposals.
- Assist in developing and presenting relevant sections of campaign proposals and presentations.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Educational Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma/degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Digital Media, Business Administration, International Relations, Psychology/Sociology or a related field.
- Strong Writing Skills: Able to draft clear, concise, and compelling press releases, media invitations, and social media content with excellent attention to detail. Prior experience or coursework in writing for PR or marketing is a plus.
- Creativity & Social Media Savvy: Knowledge of current trends on social media platforms and an eye for creative, engaging content. Experience with social media content creation is preferred.
- Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and timelines effectively.
- Research Ability: Comfortable with researching client products, industry trends, and influencers, and can contribute to brainstorming sessions with fresh ideas and insights.
- Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with various teams, support media relations efforts, and assist in organizing events. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are key.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:30am – 6pm
Hybrid Work Arrangement: 3 Days in office, 2 days WFH
Allowance: SGD 1,000
