Salary: Up to $6.5K (Depending on experience)
Job Scope:
- Triage patients and determine the priority of care based on physical, psychological, and social assessments.
- Conduct focused assessments of patients' presenting complaints, medical history, and medications in accordance with established triage guidelines.
- Provide safe and patient-centred care while ensuring patient comfort.
- Monitor patients regularly, document assessments, and evaluate changes in condition.
- Assist clinicians during physical examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.
- Initiate timely interventions when patient conditions deteriorate or monitoring equipment indicates adverse findings.
- Assist in CPR and emergency interventions, working closely with physicians to stabilize patients.
- Communicate care plans and treatment updates to patients and their next-of-kin where appropriate.
- Coordinate with other departments and healthcare institutions for admissions, transfers, and ongoing patient care.
- Accompany critically ill or emergency patients during transfers to other hospitals when required.
Job Requirements:
- Min. Diploma/ Degree in Nursing
- Valid SNB & BCLS
- Advanced diploma in Nursing (Emergency) is an added advantage
- Min. 2-3 years relevant experience in emergency setting is preferred
