QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Requirements:
1. You need be Degree qualitied in construction related subjects e.g. Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Civil Engineering or similar.
2. Your need to have gained more than two years working experience as a Quantity Surveyor on large building construction projects.
3. You need some experience of feasibility of studies, cost estimation, cost planning, cash flow forecasting, contractual advice, value engineering, contractor selection, tender documentation, along with post contract work including valuations, variations etc.
4. You need good English and be keen to improve your English language skills. Good Chinese is also required.
5. Good communication skills are essential and to have the ability to deal with people at all levels.
6. You should be able to work with minimum supervision and supervise less experience QSs as required.
7. Salary is negotiable according to experience.

Job Description:

1. Liaising with clients to identify their needs.

2.Estimating quantities, costs and time scales for material and labor.

3.Preparing tender and contract documents.

4. Identifying and weighing up commercial risks.

5.Valuing completed work, managing budgets and overseeing payments.

6. Ensuring projects meet legal and quality standards.

7. Advising on the maintenance costs of specific buildings.

8. Ensuring the clients get value for their money.

9. Submitting regular budget reports.

10. Following building regulations and Health and Safety.
