Safety Officer/WSHO (YS81)

Responsibilities:

• Discharge duties as relevant in the WSH Act, WSH (Workplace Safety and Health (Officers) Regulations and Environmental Public Health Act.
• Implement and maintain proper procedures of WSH management, administrative and recording system.
• Plan, administer and implement safety policy and safety procedures in compliance with local safety regulations.
• Assist in the development and maintain ISO standards for the Company.
• Develop emergency procedures under Company's Business Continuity Plan
• Manage and lead the Safety team & sub-contractors in the implementation of Company's safety systems.
• Ensure project site safety compliance and continuous improvement by implementing and coordinating safety awareness training/programmers/initiatives.
• Ensure safe work practices are adhered to by all parties in the daily site activities.
• Conduct daily team/individual WSH inspections and produce relevant reports and follow-ups
• Organize/conduct WSH briefing/training to site team
• Lead and assist in investigating any near miss, incident or accident, dangerous occurrence and recommend appropriate control measures to prevent recurrence.

Requirements:

• Degree / Diploma / Specialist diploma in Workplace Safety & Health.
• Registered WSH Officer with MOM and Environmental Control Officer with NEA.
• Possess Work-At-Height and Risk Management certificate.
