Job Summary
Perform essential kitchen tasks by preparing dishes according to the restaurant’s recipes, assisting the Head Chef, and maintaining quality standards. Demonstrate willingness to learn and apply logical initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare dishes accurately following the restaurant’s recipes to ensure consistent quality
- Assist the Head Chef by executing assigned tasks and supporting kitchen operations
- Apply logical thinking and common-sense initiatives to improve cooking processes and efficiency
- Maintain readiness to work extended shifts of 10-12 hours as required
- Communicate effectively in English or Malay to support teamwork and kitchen coordination (language skills considered a bonus)
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Ability to speak English or Malay is preferred to facilitate communication in the kitchen
