About the Role
This is the operational nerve centre of the company. You'll be the person who keeps every job moving — from the moment a customer enquires, to site survey, to quotation, to installation, to job completion. You'll juggle multiple projects and workers at once, think on your feet when plans change last-minute, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks. If you're the kind of person who naturally takes charge, solves problems before they escalate, and stays calm when three things go wrong at once, this role is built for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Handling
- Be the main point of contact for customer enquiries — via phone, WhatsApp, and email
- Understand customer requirements and advise on suitable solutions
- Handle customer queries and issues professionally, in both English and Chinese (to serve Chinese-speaking clients and contacts)
- Site Surveys & Quotations
- Schedule and coordinate site survey appointments with customers
- Generate accurate quotations based on site survey findings and standard pricing
- Follow up with customers on outstanding quotations and close out approvals
- Installation Planning & Scheduling
- Plan and arrange installation schedules, balancing customer availability, site readiness, and worker availability
- Adjust schedules quickly and calmly when plans change (delays, cancellations, urgent jobs)
- Coordinate logistics — materials, equipment, and access arrangements — ahead of each installation
- Worker & Ops Management
- Assign and manage workers/installers across multiple concurrent projects
- Track job progress and ensure installations are completed on time and to standard
- Flag issues on-site to management promptly and propose practical solutions
- General Operations
- Maintain accurate records of jobs, quotations, schedules, and customer communications
- Support ad-hoc administrative and operational tasks as the business requires
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese (spoken and written) — required to liaise with Chinese-speaking customers and workers
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and manage multiple jobs simultaneously
- Quick-witted and resourceful — able to think on your feet and adapt plans on short notice
- Comfortable managing and directing a team of workers, including firm but fair follow-up
- Basic proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets for quotations and scheduling
- No specific years of experience required — we value attitude, adaptability, and ownership over paper qualifications
