Job Description
- Manage commercial operations for both owned and third-party fleet trading worldwide.
- Post fixture management - freight/hire payables and receivables, laytime calculations, vessel performance reviews.
- Optimizing voyages and maximizing revenue.
- Handle bunker procurement and management.
- Timely update voyage data on digital platform (IMOS) & generate routine reports on vessels' commercial performance.
- Coordinate with external parties (Agents/Charterers/Owners etc.) to expedite voyages efficiently.
- Review Port Disbursement Accounts (DAs).
- Basic understanding of insurance and claim handling
- Manage all other voyage relevant invoices effectively and timely.
- Provide general administrative support to the team leader as needed.
Requirements
- Minimally a Degree, preferably in Maritime/Business.
- Have at least 5 years of relevant experience as an Operations Executive in Commercial operations.
- Have relevant experience as an Operations Executive in Commercial operations for various sizes such as Supramax / Ultramax / Panamax / Kamsarmax.
- Candidates with at least 2 years of relevant experience as Operations Executive, may be considered.
- Possess strong administrative, planning, and implementation skills.
- Demonstrate fluency in English with excellent writing skills to communicate with external parties (Agents/Charterers/Owners etc.).
- Must have bulk carrier experience.
