Job Summary
Design mechanical components, machinery, and piping systems with precision, applying engineering principles and collaborating effectively within teams to deliver accurate technical drawings and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Design piping systems, specifying dimensions, fastening methods, and assembly procedures to ensure functionality
- Apply engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and construction techniques to develop practical and efficient designs
- Use AutoCAD proficiently to create detailed and accurate technical drawings
- Maintain a high level of accuracy in creating drawings, calculating measurements, and detailing specifications to meet project requirements
- Communicate clearly and effectively in verbal and written forms to collaborate with team members and stakeholders
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Preferably at least 1 year of work experience in a similar role
