Scope of work and responsibilities
- Handle full sets of accounts for a portfolio of client companies.
- Prepare timely and accurate accounting records, including Profit & Loss Statements and Balance Sheets.
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations, journal entries and balance sheet schedules.
- Liaise and coordinate with clients and external parties, including auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial service providers and relevant government authorities, where required.
- Prepare tax schedules and supporting documents for corporate tax filing.
- Assist with audit and tax-related queries and provide the necessary accounting information and supporting documents.
- Follow up with clients on outstanding accounting records, documents and information required for account preparation.
- Provide ad-hoc accounting support and assist with other assignments or projects as required.
Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience in similar role, and is familiar with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and Corporate Tax Statutory requirement
- Proficient in Microsoft office and familiarity with accounting system will be advantageous
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Meticulous, multitasking and able to handle tight datelines
