Key Responsibilities
Business & Sales Leadership
- Lead the Modern Trade team to achieve sales targets, profitability, and market leadership.
- Develop and implement sales strategies and KPIs that drive performance across all levels.
- Build a high-performing and motivated sales team through coaching and development.
- Review and optimize sales operations and team structure to improve efficiency.
Key Account Management
- Develop strategic plans and growth initiatives for major retail accounts.
- Conduct business reviews and work closely with customers to identify opportunities for mutual growth.
- Strengthen partnerships with key retailers and negotiate effectively to maximize business returns.
- Leverage the company's portfolio to drive category growth and increase brand visibility.
Trade Spend & Profitability Management
- Manage trade investments and A&P budgets effectively.
- Monitor and analyze trade spend ROI to improve efficiency and business profitability.
Market & Competitor Intelligence
- Track market trends, retailer developments, and competitor activities.
- Analyze sales and market data to identify opportunities and potential risks.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to deliver business objectives
Agency Management
- Align agency execution with key account strategies and business objectives.
- Conduct regular performance reviews to ensure targets and execution standards are achieved.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, or related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of FMCG sales experience, preferably in Modern Trade.
- Strong experience managing key retail accounts and Modern Trade channels.
- At least 5 years of team leadership and people management experience.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
- Proven track record in sales growth, negotiations, and account management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical, data-driven, and results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and competitive FMCG environment.
