STAFF NURSE

Job Responsibilities:

- Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care plan for each resident.

- Administers medication with demonstrated knowledge of medication action, mode of administration, side effects and contraindications

- Performs prescribed treatment and procedures in accordance to standard nursing practice to meet patients' physical and emotional needs

- Conducts discharge planning

- Documents residents' progress, care and treatment provided, accurately and timely.

- Communicates, participates and contributes actively during doctor's rounds

- Coordinates, participates and contributes to the family conference on complex patient care management

- Assists in clinical emergency situations

- Provides clinical guidance to junior nursing staff

- Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor.

Job Requirements:

- Diploma / Degree in Nursing or equivalent

- Min 2 years relevant working experience

- Valid full/ conditional registration registered nurse practicing certificate with the Singapore Nursing Board

- Holds valid Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification

- Able to commit 2 shift duties

- Able to multi-task and work independently

- Good communication skills and a team player

- Proficient in MS Office

Salary Range: $3,300 - $4,500
