Manager/Senior Manager, Digital Service Planning

As part of the Digital Service Planning team, you will play a key role in managing and enhancing TADM's digital systems to support business operations and service delivery. You will manage system enhancements and projects from requirements gathering through implementation, working with stakeholders across different levels of the organisation as well as external partners and vendors. You will analyse user behaviour, system performance and operational data to identify improvement opportunities, develop practical solutions and support informed decision-making.
The role requires strong stakeholder engagement, project management, communication and presentation skills, including the ability to present recommendations and project updates to senior management.
System Management: Manage and enhance TADM's core digital systems to ensure they effectively support business operations and service delivery. Work closely with users to identify and resolve day-to-day operational issues, improve processes, and implement system enhancements that increase efficiency, productivity and customer experience.
Business Analysis & Enhancement Delivery: Engage stakeholders to understand business needs, operational challenges and policy requirements, and translate them into clear system requirements. Work closely with users, technical teams and vendors to develop practical solutions, manage system enhancement initiatives from requirements gathering through testing and implementation, and ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope and timelines while meeting business objectives.
Stakeholder, Vendor & Management Engagement
Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across different levels of the organisation, external agencies and technology vendors. Facilitate discussions, manage expectations, provide project updates and present recommendations, business cases and system enhancement proposals to senior management.
Data Insights & Reporting
Analyse system performance, operational trends and user feedback to identify opportunities for improvement. Prepare reports, presentations and recommendations to support management decision-making and drive continuous improvement of digital services.
Job Requirements
- Tertiary Education in Business, Information Systems, Information Technology or a related field is an advantage.
- Proficiency or experience managing system enhancement projects, digital platforms or customer journey analysis is preferred.
- Familiarity with government service standards and employment dispute resolution processes is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand business needs, identify issues, analyse data and develop practical solutions.
- Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively with officers, management, vendors and external partners.
- Confident presenter, with the ability to prepare and deliver presentations and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data analysis and the use of data-driven insights to support decision-making and continuous service improvement.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
