The Starry Way Preschool is looking for a dedicated and energetic Assistant Teacher to join our team for the afternoon session. Key Responsibilities
Afternoon Support: Assist the Lead Teacher in managing the classroom and executing afternoon activities from 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM .
Supervision & Safety: Ensure the safety and well-being of children during tea break, outdoor play, and dismissal.
Learning Support: Facilitate multi-sensory play and inquiry-based activities (in either English or Mandarin).
Environment Care: Help maintain a clean, provocative, and organized learning environment that sparks curiosity.
Parent Interaction: Assist in a professional and friendly manner during student pick-up/dismissal.
✅ Requirements
Relevant Certification: Minimum ACEY or Certificate in ECCE . Candidates currently pursuing their Diploma are welcome to apply.
Language Proficiency: Ability to communicate effectively in either English or Mandarin to support the respective language immersion.
Commitment: Must be able to commit to the 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM shift consistently.
Personality: Patient, proactive, and possesses a genuine love for children.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with the Principal and lead teachers.
