As a multinational leader in the information technology and electronics industry, our Client is seeking a System Administrator to join their team.
The Role:
As a System Administrator , you will be responsible for the following:
- Monitor the dashboard and promptly escalate alerts and incidents 24/7.
- Manage and resolve ITSM Incident tickets efficiently.
- Execute basic and routine tasks such as running batch scripts and generating reports.
- Create and handle service and incident request tickets, following documented procedures.
- Perform basic system and network administration, including troubleshooting, patching, and alert monitoring.
- Collaborate with our technical team to document processes and co-develop the operations manual.
- Support process improvements and perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma in Electrical / Electronic / Computer Engineering / Information Systems
- Minimum of 1 year working experience is preferred.
- Possess basic working knowledge and hands-on experience in Windows Server administration and/or equivalent in other platforms.
- Ability to perform shift work covering 24 x 7 support operations.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Training will be provided to the candidate without relevant experience but displays aptitude to learn.
- Flexible and able to handle work pressure.
- Able to carry out multiple tasks.
- Takes own initiative to learn and pick up new learning fast.
