Sales Manager – Commodities | Singapore
Know the China and Asia commodities market and enjoy turning customer relationships into new business? Join an international commodities business in a newly created role combining market development, commercial negotiations and global sales execution.
Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager, you will:
• Grow customer relationships, develop new markets and identify opportunities across existing and growth commodities.
• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms, manage sales contracts and drive volume, revenue and margin targets.
• Coordinate shipments with logistics, operations and finance teams to ensure timely deliveries and payments.
• Track market trends, competitor activity and pricing to support commercial decisions.
What you bring:
• 5–7 years of experience in commodity trading, mining, international trade or industrial sales, preferably covering metals, minerals, energy or dry bulk commodities.
• Strong understanding of China market dynamics and a track record of developing customers and commercial opportunities.
• Experience in account management, contract administration and international trade documentation.
• A degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Exposure to ferroalloys, ores, metals or bulk commodities is an advantage.
