Higher Associate Engineer (Civil)

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize and supervise daily concrete cube testing operations.
- Ensure timely receipt, registration, curing, testing, and disposal of concrete cube specimens.
- Monitor daily laboratory workload and allocate manpower efficiently.
- Ensure testing schedules meet contractual turnaround times.
- Review daily testing progress and resolve operational issues.
- Supervise and train laboratory technicians.
- Assist in resolving technical issues and client enquiries.
- Maintain laboratory records and support internal and external audits.
Key Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or a related displine with minimum 2 years of working experience
- Experience working in a construction materials testing laboratory will be an added advantage.
- Possession of a valid Singapore Class 3 or higher driving licence is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity to ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025 quality management systems will be be an added advantage
- Result and service-oriented individual who possesses initiative, good communication skills and leadership potential
- A proactive team player who is also able to work independently under challenging project schedules and timelines.
- Enthusiastic, resourceful, and self-motivated with a positive "can-do" attitude.
