Job Objective
As an EIPIC teacher, your ability to make a positive impact in the lives of children with special needs will be second to none. You will be playing a leading role in helping your young charges enhance and maximize their developmental growth potential while minimizing the onset of secondary disabilities.
Job Description
- Lead a class and accommodate the diverse needs of young children.
- Modify instruction and make adaptations
- Be familiar with positive reinforcement and behavioural management strategies
- Plan and write children’s IEP and term progress reports.
- Implement special educational strategies and techniques during lesson.
- Establish clear objectives for all lessons and communicate those objectives to students.
- Maintain accurate and complete daily student record.
- Provide different variety of instructional practices
- Meet with parents and guardians to discuss their children's progress, and to determine their priorities for their children and their resource needs.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Special Education (Special needs Early Intervention)
- Minimum two years of teaching experience in the Special Education field
- High tolerance level towards children is an advantage
- Able to work well independently as well as within a team
