Roles & Responsibilities
The deployed personnel will serve as a technical operational anchor for the college’s multimedia and campus events. Key responsibilities include:
- Event Production & AV Support: Lead the live operation and technical setup of audio-visual systems for assemblies, major school events, and performances.
- Console & Lighting Management: Operate auditorium lighting grids, digital soundboards, and media mixing consoles during live productions.
- Student & Staff Co-Training: Conduct structured training sessions on AV equipment for Media Club students and teachers.
- Multimedia & Content Creation: Capture professional campus photography/videography, edit video materials for corporate presentations, and manage content on digital signage display screens across the campus.
- Classroom & Site Operations: Oversee the proactive maintenance, installation, and rapid troubleshooting of projectors, PA systems, and interactive displays to eliminate instructional downtime.
- Website Management: Routinely update the official school website with fresh media content, announcements, and program feeds.
Job Requirements
- Education: Minimum Diploma or Higher Nitec in Audio-Visual Technology, Media Production, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience handling auditorium live event mixing, stage lighting controllers, and wireless microphone systems.
- Technical Proficiency: Proven production portfolio utilizing industry-standard video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and basic Content Management Systems (CMS).
- Soft Skills: Ability to communicate instructions patiently when mentoring young students, paired with the physical stamina to transport and set up heavy AV gear safely across campus.
- Flexibility: Willingness to support occasional early morning assemblies or after-school corporate milestones when operationally necessary.
Working Hours & Schedule
- Mondays to Thursdays: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM (inclusive of a 1-hour lunch break)
- Fridays: 8:30 AM – 5:50 PM (inclusive of a 1-hour lunch break)
- Off Days: Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted Public Holidays
