Sales Manager

About the role

Vin's Automotive Group is one of Singapore's leading integrated automotive groups, offering New & Used Car Sales, EVs, Leasing & Rental, Insurance, Financing and After-Sales Services.

As we continue our digital transformation, we are looking for a commercially driven Sales Manager who can combine traditional sales leadership with modern digital sales practices to improve team performance and customer conversion.

Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will combine hands-on selling, team coaching, CRM discipline, professional digital communication and practical AI-enabled sales tools.

This is not a sales operations, CRM administration or technology-only role. You must be a credible salesperson who can personally manage leads, engage customers, secure appointments, handle objections and support the closing of vehicle sales.

Key responsibilities

· Personally manage selected customer enquiries and sales opportunities.

· Support sales consultants in progressing difficult or stalled deals.

· Coach the sales team using actual calls, WhatsApp conversations, emails and CRM activity.

· Improve lead response time, follow-up discipline and customer communication.

· Develop sales scripts, follow-up cadences, objection-handling guides and message templates.

· Ensure leads are properly updated, prioritised and followed up in the CRM.

· Monitor lead ageing, appointment conversion, test drives and sales performance.

· Recover stale and neglected sales opportunities.

· Introduce practical AI workflows for customer replies, follow-ups, conversation summaries, coaching and CRM updates.

· Train the team to use approved AI and digital sales tools effectively.

· Work closely with marketing to improve lead quality and campaign conversion.

· Support the Head of Sales with pipeline reviews, coaching and performance management.

Working Arrangements

• 5.25 days per week
• Mon-Fri: 8.45am - 5.45pm
• Alternate Sat: 8.45am - 12.45pm
• Working location: Midview City

What we are looking for

· At least 7 years of sales experience.

· At least 3 years of experience coaching, supervising or managing salespeople.

· A strong personal record of achieving sales targets.

· Experience in automotive, property, insurance, financial services, premium retail or another high-value sales environment.

· Strong objection-handling, negotiation and closing skills.

· Experience managing inbound digital leads.

· Hands-on experience using CRM systems.

· Excellent written and spoken English.

· Strong professional communication over WhatsApp and email.

· Practical experience using AI, automation or digital tools in sales.

· Comfortable personally engaging customers and demonstrating good sales practices.

Preferred experience

· Automotive retail, vehicle leasing or automotive marketplace experience.

· Experience in a showroom or appointment-driven sales environment.

· Experience managing WhatsApp-led customer journeys.

· Experience working with performance-marketing teams.

· Familiarity with Singapore's automotive, financing and COE environment.

Ideal candidate

You are a hands-on sales leader who combines strong commercial instincts with a structured, digital-first approach.

You know how to close deals, but you can also help other salespeople improve. You are comfortable reviewing customer conversations, coaching the team, managing pipelines and introducing practical AI tools without making the sales process overly complicated.

You are confident but humble, respect traditional sales experience and are comfortable working under an experienced Head of Sales.

· Digital marketers

· Consultants without frontline closing experience
