Position: Sales Engineer / Sales Manager
Location: KL/Singapore
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and grow sales within assigned territories and customer accounts.
- Identify new business opportunities and build a strong sales pipeline.
- Understand customer technical and commercial requirements and propose suitable solutions.
- Follow up on opportunities, negotiate commercial terms, and secure orders.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and channel partners.
- Conduct regular customer visits and provide technical and commercial support.
- Monitor market trends, customer activities, and competitor developments.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Service, Sales & Logistic and Finance to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Prepare sales forecasts, customer visit reports, and other sales-related reports.
- Participate in industry exhibitions, seminars, and business development activities as required.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in technical sales, industrial equipment, marine, engineering, or related industries.
- Marine industry experience (shipowners, ship managers, shipyards) in SEA Region (Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, etc.)
- Strong ability to identify opportunities and convert them into business.
- Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Customer-focused with a proactive and results-driven mindset.
- Self-motivated, well-organized, and able to work independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Willingness to travel within the region.
