Technical Engineer

We are hiring a Technical Engineer to support the inspection, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of heavy lifting equipment, including mobile and crawler cranes. This role is responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, safety compliance, and optimal operational performance through preventive maintenance and technical support.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, servicing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of cranes and heavy equipment.

• Diagnose and resolve electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical faults using appropriate testing and diagnostic methods.

• Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and prepare technical service reports.

• Interpret electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical schematics to support maintenance and repair activities.

• Ensure all maintenance work complies with company procedures, safety regulations, and MOM requirements.

• Provide technical support to customers and internal teams during servicing and maintenance activities.

• Support equipment commissioning, repairs, and overseas assignments when required.

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in heavy equipment maintenance, crane servicing, or a related engineering field (5 years for Senior position)

• Hands-on experience with mobile cranes and/or crawler cranes is required.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

• Able to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematic drawings.

• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 Driving Licence.

• Willing to travel overseas when required.

• Able to work independently while maintaining good teamwork and communication skills.
