Do you have a deep love for the English language and a genuine joy in working with children?Jan & Elly, a leading English language enrichment centre, is seeking a passionate, energetic and qualified English Teacher to join our dedicated team.
At Jan & Elly, we provide a conducive and fun learning environment for children aged 4-12. What You'll Do:
- Prepare and deliver engaging English classes, lessons and activities according to our curriculum.
- Conduct student assessments and meticulously monitor their progress.
- Write comprehensive student progress reports at the end of each term.
- Proactively follow up on and address queries from parents and students.
- Contribute to maintaining healthy class enrolments.
- Build strong, positive rapport with both parents and students.
- Provide valuable feedback on lesson plans and worksheets to relevant team members.
What We're Looking For:
- A Bachelor of Education, Arts, or an Honours degree . A Post Graduate Certificate of Education or TESOL qualification is a significant advantage.
- Exceptional proficiency in English grammar and rules , a flair for writing and fluent spoken standard English.
- A mature, responsible, patient and positive individual – high energy is a definite plus!
- A great sense of humour is a must – we love to laugh and have fun while making a difference!
- Able to work on either/both weekends , and able to commit for at least 1 year .
