Finance Assistant
Salary: $2,800 - $3,100
Working Days: Monday – Friday, 8am - 5pm or 9am – 6pm
Location: Yio Chu Kang
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily finance and accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Manage the full Accounts Receivable (AR) cycle, including invoicing, collections, and customer payment follow-ups.
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices and payments.
- Prepare payment vouchers, invoices, and other financial documentation.
- Perform bank and account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
- Maintain organized accounting records and ensure proper documentation and filing.
- Record and update financial transactions accurately within the ERP or accounting system.
- Support month-end closing activities and assist in the preparation of financial reports.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders on finance-related matters.
- Monitor expenditures and support cost-control and cost-saving initiatives.
- Provide administrative support and perform other ad-hoc finance and administrative duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 1–3 years of accounting or finance experience preferred
- Knowledge of full set accounting is an advantage
