Student Management Officer

We are seeking a calm and responsible Student Management Officer to support student discipline, pastoral care and behavioural development within the school.
Job Description
Support student discipline, including investigations, case documentation, uniform/grooming matters and follow-up with parents.
Engage and provide pastoral support to students, particularly those with behavioural or social-emotional challenges.
Supervise students during detention, in-school suspension, recess, school activities and patrols.
Support restorative conversations, corrective counselling, safety plans and student guidance programmes.
Work with school personnel, parents and external agencies to provide follow-up support for students.
Assist with CCTV reviews, examination escort duties and administrative/operational duties during HBL and school holidays.
Requirements
Calm and confident in handling challenging situations and difficult conversations.
Able to engage positively with children under 16 and support behavioural development.
Experience or interest in working with students with behavioural, disciplinary or social-emotional challenges.
Comfortable with investigations, report writing and confidential case documentation.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Drive/Workspace; knowledge of restorative practices is an advantage.

Contract Period: 1 Jan 2027 to 30 Nov 2027 (11 months)
Working Hours: Mon–Thu, 7:30am–4:30pm, inclusive of 30-minute lunch break; Fri, 7:30am–4:00pm, inclusive of 30-minute lunch break
