Job Responsibilities
- Conduct market, sector, and company research, including understanding industry dynamics, key players, and sector strategies.
- Support and manage due diligence by gathering data, identifying risks, and summarizing findings.
- Analyse key financial metrics and drivers affecting deals and portfolio companies.
- Assist in preparation of document on key legal and structuring terms.
- Collaborate with senior team members and legal advisors to ensure compliance and alignment with objectives.
- Support investment execution, approval processes, monitoring, and value creation initiatives.
- Support in sourcing, screening, and analysing new investment opportunities.
- Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive activity.
- Build and maintain relationships with industry experts, advisors, and partners
- Manage projects to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Prepare reports and presentations.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Biotechnology, or related disciplines.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience
- A professional qualification, such as CFA and/or a postgraduate qualification, such as MBA, would be highly regarded.
- Highly numerate with knowledge of financial analysis and valuation methodologies
- Experience in due diligence from a financial, accounting, or operational perspective
- Strong communication, both verbal and written, and project management skills
- Inquisitive, resourceful, meticulous, responsible, and self-motivated
- A self-starter who can work effectively in a dynamic corporate environment
- A team player who is also able to work independently
