Position Overview
The Spa Receptionist is responsible for giving guests a positive impression of the spa from the point of reservation to the moment they arrive and depart. The individual has a vast understanding of the services and products offered, answers emails and calls, assists guests with their enquiries bookings and escort the guest to the lockers/facilities when necessary. The individual checks guests in and out of the spa in a professional manner, and ensures all guests leave satisfied.
The Role
Reception Operations
- Assist with booking, changing and cancelling of spa appointments
- Provide detailed descriptions of spa treatments, packages, services, and facilities
- Provide spa tours and escort guests to treatment areas
- Promote spa services and products
- Address guest complaints with empathy and courtesy, always finding a resolution to ensure complete guest satisfaction
- Handle correspondences and phone calls
- Answer to enquiries and requests
- Perform opening and closing duties
- Manage guest register
- Process payments accurately
- Keep the reception area clean and organised at all times
- Ensure a conducive environment at the holding area as guests wait for their turn
- Maintain high levels of service standards throughout the spa
- Provide assistance with any tasks related to the spa as needed during its operation
Talent Profile
- Have a thorough knowledge of the spa industry
- Minimum 1 year of experience in luxury spa or similar field
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Office administration, Book4Time,
