Job Description
Benjamin Maths is looking for a committed and responsible Primary / PSLE Mathematics Teacher to join our tuition centre.
The teacher will be responsible for conducting small-group lessons, preparing students for school examinations and PSLE, and helping students build strong problem-solving skills and confidence in Mathematics.
Responsibilities
Conduct Primary Mathematics lessons for small groups of students.
Teach problem-solving techniques, heuristics, model drawing, exam skills and time-management strategies.
Prepare students for school assessments, weighted assessments, prelims and PSLE.
Mark students’ work and provide clear feedback on mistakes and areas for improvement.
Monitor students’ progress and identify learning gaps.
Communicate professionally with parents on students’ progress where required.
Prepare, review or customise worksheets, practice papers and lesson materials where necessary.
Maintain a positive, structured and disciplined classroom environment.
Work closely with the centre’s management and teaching team to ensure lesson quality.
Requirements
Strong foundation in Primary Mathematics and PSLE problem-solving methods.
Prior teaching or tutoring experience is preferred.
Familiarity with the Singapore MOE Primary Mathematics syllabus will be an advantage.
Able to explain concepts clearly and patiently to students.
Responsible, punctual, organised and committed to students’ progress.
Able to manage small-group classroom dynamics.
Good communication skills with students, parents and colleagues.
Candidates with NIE / MOE teaching experience, tuition centre experience, or strong academic background in Mathematics are welcome to apply.
Working Arrangement
Full-time / part-time positions available.
Weekday evening and weekend availability will be required.
Training and teaching materials will be provided.
Location: Bukit Timah, Kovan, Tiong Bahru.

This role is suitable for experienced tuition teachers, ex-MOE teachers, NIE-trained teachers, graduates with strong Mathematics ability, or candidates who are passionate about teaching Primary Mathematics.
