Responsibilities;
Support the timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end financial closing activities. Prepare financial statements, management reports, and analytical reports while ensuring accuracy and adherence to reporting deadlines.Handle journal entries and account reconciliations using Sage X3 and/or BlackLine systems. Oversee fixed asset accounting activities, including asset capitalization, disposals, depreciation schedules, and compliance with established fixed asset policies and procedures.
Assist in budgeting processes and cash flow forecasting to support financial planning initiatives. Support the preparation and submission of statutory accounts and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and workflows to enhance operational efficiency, strengthen internal controls, and support regulatory compliance.
Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies. Collaborate with tax agents and regulatory authorities to facilitate compliance matters and audit activities.
Coordinate with external auditors by preparing supporting documentation and ensuring timely completion of audit requirements and statutory submissions. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a recognized professional accounting qualification such as ACCA or CIMA. Minimum 5 years of relevant Accounting and Finance experience, preferably within Manufacturing or Logistics industries. Experience in process improvement initiatives would be considered an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities with the capability to interpret financial information effectively. Self-driven and proactive with a high level of accountability and ownership. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and task management skills.
Able to work effectively in a team environment while adapting well to changing business needs and priorities. Proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel functions and financial data analysis.
