Sounds great – what’s the role in a nutshell?
The PR & Communications Executive will support Aqua Expeditions’ global PR and communications activity, working across media relations, press trips, PR reporting, Digital PR, awards and media asset management. The role will also support the day-to-day coordination and administration of PR activity across Aqua’s global markets.
DAY-TO-DAY:
- Coordinate approved press trips under the oversight of the PR & Communications Assistant Manager, liaising with journalists, PR agencies, Reservations and Operations on cabin bookings, flights, accommodation, transfers and other travel requirements, while maintaining relevant trackers and providing a full concierge-style service throughout.
- Track and record online and print media coverage across global PR markets and consolidate PR reporting, including AVE and monthly coverage reports received from PR agencies.
- Track and report on Digital PR performance, including backlinks, Domain Authority and links to priority landing pages.
- Manage and maintain the online Media Center, including uploading press releases, digital coverage and print clippings, and ensuring PR coverage and agency reports are accurately filed and maintained.
- Maintain the PR CRM database, including adding new media contacts, regularly cleaning and updating existing records and ensuring contact information remains accurate.
- Track expected coverage following press trips and ensure published coverage is recorded and reported.
- Manage general media inquiries, including image and asset requests, product information and fact-checking, escalating higher-level editorial requests where required.
- Maintain PR materials including press kits, biographies, press releases, imagery and other media assets.
- Support awards activity, including monitoring deadlines, gathering required information and materials, and coordinating submissions.
- Provide day-to-day PR and administrative support to the Global PR & Communications team as required.
What are we looking for?
- Must be eligible to work in Singapore without requiring visa sponsorship.
- Undergraduate degree, ideally in communications, public relations, marketing or a related field.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proactive, resourceful and eager to learn.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong interest in travel and hospitality.
- Prior internship or work experience in PR, communications, media or a related field is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Experience using Dropbox, OneDrive and SharePoint.
