Finance & Treasury Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and seasoned finance professional to take ownership of key treasury, funding, risk and insurance-related activities. The role will work closely with senior finance stakeholders and external partners, including banks, brokers and insurers, to support liquidity planning, financing requirements, financial risk oversight and insurance matters across the business. This opportunity is suited to a practical, hands-on manager who can operate independently while partnering effectively with internal teams in a fast-moving commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Treasury Operations and Liquidity

• Establish, review and enhance treasury-related policies, processes and controls to enable sound cash flow oversight and liquidity discipline.

• Oversee day-to-day cash management, including cash positioning, cash flow projections, funding needs and investment-related support.

• Track and manage key financial exposures, including interest rate, foreign currency and liquidity-related risks.

• Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions to support banking operations, financing arrangements and facility requirements.

• Provide treasury updates, analysis and recommendations for management consideration.

Financial Planning and Business Analysis

• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and financial review processes in partnership with the wider finance team.

• Review financial information to highlight trends, variances, potential risks and areas for improvement.

Governance, Compliance and Reporting

• Maintain adherence to applicable regulatory obligations, internal policies and governance expectations relating to treasury and insurance activities.

• Prepare and submit relevant finance, treasury and insurance reports for internal and external stakeholders as required.

Insurance Programme Oversight

• Manage the organisation’s insurance arrangements and help ensure appropriate coverage for business operations.

• Review, renew and administer insurance policies, working with brokers or insurers on terms, premiums and coverage requirements.

• Engage internal stakeholders to understand insurance needs and address potential coverage gaps.

• Coordinate insurance claims, including documentation, follow-up and resolution support.

Capital, Investment and Corporate Development Support

• Support debt, equity and structured financing activities that enable business operations and strategic initiatives.

• Assist with corporate development activities, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, disposals and related transactions.

Requirements:

• Degree-qualified in Finance, Accounting, Business administration or a related field.

• Professional credentials such as CPA, CA, CFA or equivalent will be viewed favourably.

• Demonstrated experience across treasury operations, cash flow planning, financing, financial analysis and insurance administration.

• Sound knowledge of financial markets, banking solutions, funding structures and risk management practices.

• Strong analytical capability, problem-solving judgement and attention to detail.

• Confident communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders and collaborate across functions.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with relevant finance systems or reporting tools.
