Work location: North
Work schedule: 5 days’ work week (Mon – Fri), standard office hours
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee cost accounting activities, including month-end close, inventory reconciliation, cost analysis, and financial reporting.
- Analyse manufacturing costs, product margins, inventory movements, and operational variances to identify improvement opportunities.
- Partner with Operations and cross-functional teams to enhance inventory accuracy, cost control, and operational efficiency.
- Support inventory management activities, including stock counts, inventory reviews, and compliance with internal controls.
- Monitor key financial and operational performance indicators, providing insights and recommendations to management.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes by preparing cost analyses and business performance reports.
- Participate in business reviews and provide variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and audit requirements.
- Drive continuous process improvements across cost accounting, inventory management, and financial reporting processes.
- Support finance-related projects, system enhancements, and process optimisation initiatives.
Key Requirements:
- Min. Degree in Accounting, Finance Management or possess ACCA
- Min 6-8 years of experience in cost accounting or management accounting, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical, financial modelling, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, inventory accounting, and financial reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems; experience with data visualization tools is an advantage.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
