System Analyst, Cash Management & Transaction Banking (for banking industry)

Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of a large-scale Cash Management and Transaction Banking Transformation Program, focused on modernizing legacy platforms into a next-generation banking solution.
• Conduct system and business analysis to identify opportunities for streamlining cross-border banking operations and enhancing transaction processing capabilities.
• Analyze end-to-end transaction flows, system interfaces, and business processes to ensure alignment with business objectives and target-state architecture.
• Gather, document, and validate business, functional, and system requirements in collaboration with business users, technology teams, vendors, and regional stakeholders.
• Review and analyze technical design documents, solution specifications, and integration requirements to ensure completeness and consistency.
• Facilitate discussions and workshops with stakeholders to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and align on project objectives and deliverables.
• Support project governance activities, including project planning, progress tracking, status reporting, risk management, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate across multiple workstreams to manage dependencies, monitor project milestones, and ensure timely delivery of project outcomes.
• Work closely with IT teams, business units, external vendors, and regional teams to support system implementation, testing, and deployment activities.
• Assist in the assessment of cloud-based technologies, system integrations, and platform capabilities to support the development of a scalable and future-ready banking solution.
• Track project risks, issues, and action items, ensuring appropriate escalation and mitigation measures are implemented.
• Prepare project documentation, business analysis artifacts, stakeholder communications, and management reports to support decision-making and project transparency.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards, project governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to the successful delivery of the transformation program by promoting stakeholder engagement, effective communication, and continuous process improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, Banking, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, System Analyst, PMO, Consultant, or similar role within the banking or financial services industry.
• Experience supporting system implementation, transformation, migration, or modernization projects, preferably in banking environments.
• Strong knowledge of Payments, Cash Management, Transaction Banking, Corporate Banking, or related financial services domains.
• Proven System Analysis experience with the ability to analyze end-to-end transaction flows, system interactions, and business processes.
• Experience documenting and reviewing functional specifications, source-to-target data mapping, interface specifications, message transformation logic, and system dependencies.
• Ability to perform impact analysis, gap analysis, and requirements analysis to support solution design and delivery.
• Experience reviewing solution designs and effectively challenging technical proposals from vendors and implementation partners when required.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working closely with business users, technology teams, vendors, and senior management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Experience working in regional or multi-country project environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with Cash Management System (CMS) platforms, Transaction Banking transformation programs, payment modernization initiatives, or ISO 20022 migration projects will be an advantage.
• Exposure to cloud-based banking architectures, API integrations, middleware platforms, system migration, and data conversion initiatives is preferred.
• Experience supporting project governance, status reporting, risk and issue management, steering committees, and project controls is advantageous.
• Ability to quickly understand complex organizational structures, business processes, and stakeholder environments.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced project environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with a high level of ownership, accountability, and commitment to project success.
