About the opportunity

SAP FICO Consultant is a specialized professional responsible for the implementation, configuration, and support of the SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. The candidate plays a crucial role in ensuring that the financial processes of an organization are efficiently managed and aligned with business objectives.

Your key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage SAP FICO module implementation and configuration projects.
• Research, analyse, design and develop SAP FICO solutions to meet the specific needs of the organization.
• Update/Enhance SAP software capabilities and develp & direct testing and validation procedures
• Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules and external systems.
• Manage General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Oversee Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders, and Product Costing.
• Develop and implement effective controlling processes to support business decision-making.
• Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide recommendations for process optimization and automation.
• Train end-users on SAP FICO functionalities and best practices.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP FICO-related issues.
• Work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems.
• Develop specifications and performance requirements for SAP FICO.
• Ensure that hardware systems are optimized to support SAP FICO functionalities and performance.

Skills and qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an SAP FICO Consultant.
• Proven experience in a consulting or professional services environment.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP FICO module functionalities and configuration.
• Proficiency in SAP implementation methodologies and tools.
• Familiarity with integration points between SAP FICO and other SAP modules.
• Understanding of hardware systems and their integration with SAP software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues.
• Ability to analyze business processes and provide effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to conduct workshops and training sessions for end-users.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
• Experience in managing project timelines, budgets, and resources.
