Job Summary
We are hiring a DevOps Platform Engineer to support the design, automation and reliability of technology platforms supporting capital markets systems. The role focuses on infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms and operational stability in a regulated environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure and automation solutions to enhance platform reliability and efficiency
- Build, support, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes to accelerate software delivery
- Monitor system and application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations for operational stability
- Apply security best practices and support compliance requirements within a regulated environment
- Collaborate effectively with development and operations teams to ensure seamless platform integration and delivery
- Drive continuous improvement of DevOps tools and processes to increase automation and reduce manual intervention
- Utilize scripting languages such as Python or Shell to automate tasks and improve operational workflows
- Manage container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes to support scalable application deployment
- Leverage cloud platforms such as AWS to deploy and manage infrastructure components
- Demonstrate willingness to learn and responsibly apply AI-based development tools to enhance platform capabilities
- Communicate clearly and solve problems efficiently in a fast-paced environment while working both independently and as part of a team
Required competencies and certifications
- One to three years of relevant experience in DevOps or infrastructure roles
- Knowledge of UNIX platforms and databases such as SQL or Oracle
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools including Git, Jenkins, Ansible, and monitoring tools
- Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience supporting financial or capital market systems
- Experience with banking or trading platforms
- Knowledge of Java or other object-oriented programming languages
- Exposure to microservices and modern application design
