Project Engineer / Technician
- Salary: $ 2500 - $ 4500
- Address: Near Tiong Bahru MRT
- Working Hours: Monday - Friday / 8.45am to 6pm
- Alternate Saturday / 8.45am to 1.15pm
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 – 2 years of relevant experience in structured cabling, ELV systems or telecommunications.
- Experience with installation is highly preferred.
- Experience in networking or structured cabling projects will be an advantage.
- Able to read simple layout drawings and cabling plans.
- Basic understanding of IP networking and structured cabling.
- Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 Driving License .
- Comfortable travelling to customer sites across Singapore.
- Able to perform installation work, including working at heights where required and in compliance with workplace safety regulations.
Training
- Product and technical training will be provided.
- Opportunities to gain hands-on experience with leading technology solutions from Singtel and other global technology partners.
Cabling & Installation
- Install, terminate, test and label structured cabling (UTP, fibre optic where applicable).
- Perform cable routing, trunking, conduit installation and cable management.
- Ensure all cabling work complies with company standards and industry best practices.
- Troubleshoot and rectify cabling faults.
System Installation & Support
- Install, configure and commission CCTV / PBX / PA systems.
- Assist in the installation and maintenance of Unified Communications systems.
- Support the installation of networking equipment, including switches, routers and wireless access points.
- Perform system testing and commissioning before project handover.
- Provide on-site technical support and basic troubleshooting.
