Job Description
- Provide one-to-one mentoring, guidance and support to students with higher needs.
- Conduct student engagement sessions to build resilience, confidence and a positive attitude towards learning.
- Lead simple physical exercises and activities to promote students’ physical and mental well-being.
- Assist teachers in preparing learning resources and activity materials for the Life skills Programme, including financial literacy.
- Accompany and supervise students during after-school learning journeys.
- Monitor and assist students with their homework during homework care sessions.
- Conduct home visits with the School’s Student Welfare Officer (SWO), when required, to engage parents/guardians and understand students’ support needs.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in counselling, pastoral care, youthwork, student support or working with families and children.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in planning or conducting mentoring, educational, physical orstudent engagement activities for primary school children is an advantage.
