Purpose of the role
The Service Engineer is responsible for the commissioning of new products, servicing & troubleshooting of installed products and customer and distributor training.
Responsibilities
Apply installation & commissioning procedures on site
Customize settings of UPS installations according to its environment
Test according to customer requirement
May coordinate the work of technicians on certain projects
Servicing: execute preventive maintenance operations according to SOCOMEC specifications (replacement of usable parts)
Troubleshooting of all installed Socomec equipment: diagnostic of installations
Detect and provide feed-back on recurrent problems
Run training sessions
Maintain a sustainable relationship with customers
Provide basic information on daily use of the machine to customers
Increase technical level of distributor through training
Requirements
Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Technical skills for analysis of problems
Compliance with safety and reporting procedures
Possess knowledge on electrical theory & power electronics
Able to read and understand a single-line diagram
