- Assist the Project Manager in calculating quantities and costs for various tender submissions, and review supplier/contractor quotations to ensure full compliance with requirements.
- Familiar with and able to interpret general contracts and tender documents.
- Prepare budget estimates or costings as instructed.
- Liaise with suppliers to arrange product and service presentations.
- Provide solutions to technical issues that arise during the tender process.
- Communicate effectively with other departments when handling documents and resolving issues.
- Coordinate with suppliers/contractors to follow up on bills, quantities, and related matters.
- Review and evaluate market unit rates for materials and labour on a monthly or quarterly basis.
- Hand over all tender documents and costings to the project team once a tender is awarded.
- Attend site show-rounds for tenders the company intends to participate in.
- Prepare tender clarifications, and support tender interviews and presentations.
Requirements
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering (as Quantity Surveyor).
